As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.00 / Hour21+ years old - Weekly PayJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate emergency services and notifying site management and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
