You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. A concealed carry weapons permit is required for this armed position.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.79 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 08:30 AM - 05:45 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 05:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate transportation and emergency personnel when needed.Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and maintain required equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
