Security Officer Armed Residential DispatchAs a Security Officer Armed Residential Dispatch in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous communication to residents and guests. You will respond to security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first, work together, and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $26.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community areas, clubhouse facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.Carry assigned firearm and other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy, applicable laws, and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least two years of law enforcement, corrections, criminl justice degree and/or military experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Possess access control and badge experience preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
