Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol in Bunn, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government corrections location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and follow established reporting procedures.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorization as directed, and assist with the orderly movement of authorized personnel and visitors.

Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol records, in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
