As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative values.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $24.69 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned business areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Observe and report unusual conditions, access-control issues, and potential policy violations while maintaining a professional presence in a controlled aerospace and defense environment.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least two years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.A Guard Card or License is required.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
