As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $24.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel, completing required reports and documentation.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
