As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional assistance to passengers and staff. You will represent Allied Universal through clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach while helping maintain an orderly environment.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transit facilities.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate transit personnel and public agencies as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, transit yards, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points, observe activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site procedures.Maintain assigned equipment and complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
