Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach to a role where your contributions matter.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeThur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMFri 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, observe visitor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to post orders.Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with facility personnel and public agencies as directed.Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
