As an Armed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed guard card or license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while embodying Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.60 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail facilities, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
