Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:
Day Time Sat 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and escalation protocols.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Must be 21+ years of age
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
