Security Officer - Bank Branch in Bronx, NY
Pay Rate:
$20.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, maintaining professional interactions and accurate documentation as required.
Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and incoming personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
