They respond to emergencies, call for help when needed, and ensure the resort and team are functioning safely. Security Officers play a vital role in resolving issues as they arise and maintaining the safety of our guests and staff.Responsibilities:Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipmentInspect buildings, equipment, and access points to permit entryObtain help in emergencies by sounding alarms and contacting appropriate authoritiesPrevent losses by reporting irregularities and informing violators of resort policiesControl traffic by directing drivers and managing parking areasComplete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activitiesMaintain equipment functionality by performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs as neededEnsure the resort complies with safety regulations and legal requirementsRequirements or Qualifications:Strong communication and observational skillsAbility to remain calm and handle emergency situations effectivelyBasic computer skills for report writing and surveillance monitoringAbility to work in various weather conditionsMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and during peak timesReliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
