You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. Bring your experience to a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 06:15 AM - 02:45 PMTue 06:15 AM - 02:45 PMFri 06:15 AM - 02:45 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.Monitor access points and report access-control concerns, facility issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least two years of security-related experience is required.Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
