Location: Clay, NY
Pay Rate: $17 - $19 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to maintain safety and security at Clay, NY. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and responding promptly to any security incidents to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
Access Control
Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks of buildings and grounds
Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control
Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents
Report and document any security breaches, incidents, or maintenance issues
Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and emergency services as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred but not required
OSHA 10 preferred
CPR/First Aid preferred
Ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts
Good communication and observation skills
Must meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements for security personnel
