As a Security Officer for a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide how we put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $20.24 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, amenities, access points, and the community perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Handcuffing certification is preferred.Pepper spray certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
