As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.46 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMValid Driver's License:Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).Access Control/Badge Experience:Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).Alarm Panel Experience:Familiarity with alarm panel operations is required (B202).Technology Proficiency:Candidates must be comfortable using computers or tablets for daily tasks (B204).CPR Certification:A valid CPR certification is mandatory (B205).Customer Service Experience:Candidates should have a background in customer service (B219).Loss Prevention Experience:Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is preferred (B210).What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.Answer and route incoming calls, assist with visitor inquiries, and communicate professionally with site personnel, vendors, and delivery drivers.Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
