Security Officer Continuous Patrol
in
Louisville, KY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol professional, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels and documenting activity in detailed reports.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized personnel and/or visitors enter designated areas, following badge, visitor management, and escort procedures as required.
Support site operations by observing for policy violations, reporting maintenance and/or facility concerns, and assisting with evacuations, drills, and other security-related responses as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
