As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $15.50 / Hour1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience Valid Driver's LicenseJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 05:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue 05:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed 05:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.Screen personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractor equipment as required, reporting unauthorized access attempts, prohibited items, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
