As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will support a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location by managing access points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Guided by our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture, you will deliver through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.Observe entry and exit points, loading areas, and restricted work zones to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and construction-related areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
