Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Allied Universal values agile, reliable, innovative service, teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $15.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor access points at a technology, media, and telecommunications construction location; verify authorized entry credentials and maintain visitor and contractor access records.Control the flow of personnel, deliveries, and vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with established access-control procedures.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, construction areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
