Part-time position (Friday and Saturday only)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Security Officer to work on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 2am. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for upscale events and lounges located in Downtown Dallas, TX. You will be working with high‑end clients, so it is essential that you maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities
Control access to event venues and lounges by checking IDs, tickets, and guest lists
Monitor the premises to ensure safety and security of all guests, staff, and property
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations such as fights, medical emergencies, and fire alarms
Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities
Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Maintain a professional appearance by wearing a black suit at all times
Follow all security protocols and procedures established by the company
Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a cohesive and effective team
Requirements
Must be able to work on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 2am
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Must be able to handle high‑pressure situations calmly and efficiently
Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Must have a reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to wear a black suit during work hours
