Job Description

As a Security Officer - DoD Clearance in Gilbert, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and contribute to a controlled environment. Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.

Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
