Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols and operate a vehicle as part of daily responsibilities. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 08:00 PM - 04:00 AMWed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AMFri 08:00 PM - 04:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and following all applicable Allied Universal and site policies.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
