As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with students, staff, and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.24 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
