As a driving Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $25.10 / HourValid Driver's License:Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).EMT Certification:Candidates applying for positions that require emergency medical response must have a current EMT Certification (C127).Technical Proficiency:Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to perform job-related tasks effectively.Customer Service Experience:Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and provide high-quality service.Job Schedule:DayTimeTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and shift handoffs accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:EMT certification is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
