As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Join Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, innovation, and a caring culture put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and delivery traffic according to site requirements.Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated industrial areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Document daily activities, access-control exceptions, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
