As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable team, where caring, teamwork, innovation, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
