As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 06:15 AM - 02:45 PMTue 06:15 AM - 02:45 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and campus stakeholders.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
