As a Security Officer Flexible Armed Response in Cincinnati, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and follow site procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours access.
Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain a professional armed presence while complying with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and client-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
