As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Badge Verification in New York, NY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment(Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft‑related concerns, and policy violations through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting.
Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security‑related issues to appropriate site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
