Job description
Security OfficerWe're looking for Security Officers to join our growing team! You're passionate about patient, visitor and staff safety, have a close eye for detail and love to collaborate with a dynamic team. Whether you're looking to stay with our team long term, or use this role as a stepping stone for a future law enforcement career, you will gain valuable hands-on experience that will meet your long and short term goals. Scheduling note: these shifts are 6-hour shifts. QualificationsEducation• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferredExperience• 1 year of law enforcement, security, military or other relevant experience required• Advanced military, law enforcement or security training preferredLicenses and Certifications• DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• GUARD - State of California Guard Card required CHS HealthStream Course• CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required within 30 days of hire or transfer into positionDisclaimers• Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
