As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.69 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.Manage front-desk access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing guests according to established protocols.Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; promptly report unusual activity or equipment concerns.Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.A Guard Card or license is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
