Job description
Security OfficerAs a Security Officer at Paragon Tropicana, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, team members, and property.Key Responsibilities:Patrol hotel and casino areas to enforce rules and ensure guest and staff safetyRespond to emergencies, disturbances, thefts, and accidentsEscort cash, slot, and table game transactionsIdentify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and underage guestsWrite detailed incident reports and maintain security logsAssist guests and employees professionally and respectfullyCommunicate effectively with management, team members, and law enforcement when neededRequirements:Must be at least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid Nevada Driver's LicenseNevada Gaming LicenseCPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Previous hotel/casino security or law enforcement experience preferredAble to stand/walk for extended periods and respond quickly to incidentsParagon Tropicana is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains the policy of recruiting and retaining the best-qualified personnel who demonstrate the ability to perform competently and work well with others.
