As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of data center facilities, access points, equipment areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
