As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting site operations through attentive access management. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable team, where a caring culture, teamwork, innovation, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.03 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of industrial buildings, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
