Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring integrity, reliability, and a teamwork-focused approach to a role where people come first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMonday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWednesday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSunday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.Monitor access points and screen or direct authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with facility requirements; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
