As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Allied Universal values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $35.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, exterior entrances, and perimeter areas.Help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and policy violations through a professional armed presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy conditions accurately; coordinate with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and responding law enforcement personnel when required.Minimum Requirements:Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Possess an armed guard card or license.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.A valid firearms permit is preferred.CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
