As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a financial institution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and employees, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Join a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $17.00 -$18.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
