Job description
Security OfficerThe Security Officer provides security services to ensure order and safety of patients, visitors and hospital personnel. Responsibilities include escorting visitors, employees, and students; patrolling all areas of the hospital; detecting suspicious activities; reporting criminal activity; investigating accident scenes; assisting medical staff with enforcement of Florida Statutes; responding to threats or acts of violence; and maintaining compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid Florida driver's license, State of Florida Class 'D' Security Officer License, Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification, and Basic Security Officer Certification.
