As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening individuals and/or materials, responding to security-related concerns, and maintaining a professional presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with visitors and team members. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work every day.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $17.33 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access control and screening procedures.Inspect packages, parcels, and personal items as required by site policy, documenting prohibited items, irregularities, and screening results.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter; report security-related concerns, damaged access points, and unusual activity.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
