As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication to residents, guests, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Full Time / Mix ShiftsPay Rate: $21.40 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 01:30 PM - 10:00 PMTue 01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSat 05:30 AM - 02:00 PMSun 05:30 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records as required.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, community entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.Communicate professionally with residents and visitors while reporting security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
