As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working as part of a team. Allied Universal values agile, reliable, innovative professionals who put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $17.91 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility entry procedures while maintaining a courteous presence.Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.Customer service experience is preferred.Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
