As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional assistance during security-related situations. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other facility guests while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity to help support a welcoming and orderly healthcare environment.Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccination requirements.Be able to work in a hospital morgue.Be able to restrain individuals.Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Florida State Security Agency License No. B Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
