As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Join Allied Universal's caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, where integrity and teamwork help support patients, visitors, and staff.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $24.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMTue 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWed 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMThur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccination requirements.Be able to work in a hospital morgue.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
