Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment while responding to security-related needs with professionalism, teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.02 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and communications accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 21 years of agePossess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
