As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Associate in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access screening, monitor entry activity, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and follow security-related procedures. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
Verify identification, visitor authorization, and entry credentials; maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation as required.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
