As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC. Join Allied Universal to deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $15.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access logs.Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility and restricted areas.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
