As an Unarmed Security Officer at a university location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 02:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and emergency services when needed.Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
