As an Unarmed Security Officer at an industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $17.95 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of industrial operations, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with appropriate personnel.Observe and report hazardous conditions, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
