Security Officer Full Time Entryway Credential ScreeningAs a Security Officer Full Time Entryway Credential Screening in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure, organized environment. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, drivers, and deliveries according to site procedures; direct traffic to designated loading, unloading, and parking areas.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
